Commercial Insurance Account Executive

The Insurance Broker is a well-established and highly regarded insurance broker specialising in providing marine insurance solutions to the freight industry. With over 20 years of experience, our team is dedicated to offering comprehensive marine cargo and freight liability insurance, along with a range of additional insurance covers tailored to our clients' needs. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Cargo Insurance Broker to join our growing team in Longridge, Lancashire.
Job Description:
As a Marine Cargo Insurance Broker, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with their marine insurance requirements. Working closely with our clients, you will assess risks, develop insurance strategies, and provide comprehensive coverage options. Your responsibilities will include:
· Building and nurturing strong client relationships, understanding their insurance requirements, and offering expert advice on marine insurance solutions.
· Analysing and evaluating risks and liability exposures to determine appropriate coverage for clients.
· Collaborating with insurance underwriters to negotiate favourable policy terms, conditions, and premiums that align with the client's needs.
· Preparing accurate and detailed insurance proposals, quotations, and policy documentation for annual renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries.
· Assisting clients with claims handling and management, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process.
Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience working with an insurance broker or in a similar role.
· Demonstrated ability to analyse risks, assess client needs, and develop customised insurance solutions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain client relationships.
· Proficiency in using insurance software and computer systems for documentation and data management.
· Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
· A relevant insurance qualification such as Cert CII or higher is preferred but not essential.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- No weekends
Supplemental pay types:
