About this team

Our team Builds a global repository of highly engaging and interactive learning courses and programs that drive the skills and capabilities required to execute on lululemon strategy, business goals, and support career development. We investigate rout causes of performance gaps to discover the obstacle to success (environment, motivation, knowledge or skill). Using learning design best practices, create global learning assets that solve for performance gap (knowledge, skills and confidence to apply).

A day in the life

  • Partner with business leaders and/ or P&C Business Partners to understand performance gaps and learning needs.
  • Partner with Learning Partners to conduct needs analysis in their markets. Partner with SMEs to consult on learning content for courses or programs.
  • Partner with Video Learning Designers to enhance the content experience and boost engagement, when appropriate.
  • Provide learning assets to localized Delivery teams for program launch.
  • Provide learning assets to Program Management team or Retail Training Program team members for sustainment.
  • Produce course or program impact reports to business leaders.
  • When requested by the Program Management team, evolve or alter learning assets as needed.
  • Provide constructive input during all phases of the learning design and development process (ADDIE and/ or SAM).
  • Consult with cross-functional project teams, leaders, SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Conduct a needs analysis to identify the root cause of performance gaps to identify learning needs.
  • Design and develop engaging classroom-based training assets, including participant and instructor guides, job aids, assessments and support tools grounded in sound learning design principles.
  • Design and building eLearning and mobile learning assets using Articulate Storyline and animation tools such as GoAnimate.
  • Design and develop basic multimedia content, including audio and video assets, illustrations, animations and interactive content.
  • Consult on the obstacle to success discovered in the needs analysis.
  • Determine the correct learning solution (virtual, instructor-led, eLearning, job aid, enrollment call, not learning, etc.).
Qualifications

  • University, College or Adult Education Certification or Degree preferred
  • Five years of experience in learning design (conducting needs analysis, setting objectives, designing and developing learning assets, and evaluation strategies for instructor-led and eLearning courses/ programs).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning initiatives and business goals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current web-based and in-class instructional theories and principles.
  • Experience designing for global learners.
  • Three years of experience developing highly interactive web-based courses using rapid eLearning authoring tools, preferably Articulate Storyline.
  • Experience in preparing and troubleshooting SCORM/ AICC compliant eLearning packages and working knowledge of SCORM and AICC standards.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia software, preferably Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, Animate, Muse) and GoAnimate.
  • Proven aptitude for and interest in leading-edge development tools and technology.
  • Experience with responsive web design, mobile learning, and mobile application development is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the fundaments of graphic design.
  • Strong negotiation, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines if needed on assignments.
  • Ability to write in French is an asset.
