Job description
The Employer
We are building London’s next-generation, business fibre network. This is a responsibility that we take seriously; we understand that for most businesses, reliable fibre is as important as heat, electricity, and water. We want to completely change the fibre network in London (and beyond) and we’re on the hunt for smart, talented people to join us. We do the right thing - no matter what. Our unwavering focus on engineering excellence and unrivalled commitment to customer service is trusted by the most important organisations across the UK and Europe in the technology, pharmaceutical, financial, and e-commerce industries.
We’re proud to have earned one of the best reputations in the industry and it is essential to us that we maintain that reputation as we grow. Our team is tight knit and highly talented. We trust each other to do the right thing, take responsibility, and be a champion for our collective success.
We’re looking for talented, smart people to join us as we embark on this exciting period of growth. Our vision is to be ‘the best job that someone ever had’, regardless of how long they stay with us and promise to provide a supportive workplace based on respect and trust.
The Role
We are looking for motivated, proactive, and collaborative individuals to take on the role of Installation Technician. You will be involved in the building and connecting of our new fibre network across London. We are completely re-imagining how to build and operate a fibre network, and this role will provide you with the opportunity to experience every aspect of the process through the streets and into customer premises. This role involves many responsibilities, some of which are physically demanding, and some which are far more intricate and technical.
We are growing quickly, and our goal is to have a diverse and inclusive workforce to represent our brand. Our Female First Initiative is way for us to ensure our workforce is inclusive and gender-balanced right from the start. We want to do more to attract women into the industry and, in particular, to predominately male focused roles. This is a chance for our industry to broaden its horizons and increase the diversity and inclusivity of its workforce in a way that it has been slow to do until now.
We are looking for people who are curious, ambitious, and excited to learn. No previous experience in telecommunications is necessary- in fact, we prefer to bring new people into the industry! We provide all equipment, tools, training, and uniform.

To have the physical capability of fulfilling all job responsibilities.
- To consistently represent Vorboss, at both customer and building sites, with the utmost professionalism and respect.
- To work well in teams, as well as independently when required. You will work closely with our warehouse and logistics teams, planning engineers, and customer success teams.
- Great communication skills.
- To be reliable, and to be responsible for the important work you will be carrying out.
- You will understand the importance in what we do, and therefore will take pride in what you do, and always pay attention to details.
- Take pride in everything.
