Guinness Property provide repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership. Our national teams deliver rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to ensure that our customers’ homes are safe and maintained to high standard.
About the role
We currently have a vacancy within Guinness Property for an Empty Homes Inspector based in London on a Permanent Basis. Reporting to the Service Manager you’ll be required to carry out property inspections prior to and on completion of Empty Homes work across Greater London.

Skills / Experience
Essential:
- Up to date knowledge of building construction, repairs, and safety legislation.
- Up to date knowledge of housing sector best practice and relevant legislation.
- Experience of repairs/EH management information systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Experience of delivering a high-quality service.
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of Schedule of Rates job specification.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
- Experience of recording data accurately onto handheld devices.
- Experience of working as part of a team who deliver front line services.
- Extensive knowledge of building maintenance technical operations
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade
