Trane Technologies Life Science Solutions is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist to support our North American Walk-In Life Science Solutions sales team.
You will be responsible for strengthening communication, prospecting, lead generation, selling, negotiation, acquisition, and fulfillment of orders. This position includes sales support from the time of inquiry to delivery, which requires equipment identification, quoting, order confirmation/purchase order receipt, pricing, order processing, expediting, and problem-solving. Inside sales specifically supports both assigned and unassigned sales accounts to customers. As you become more experienced, you may support the outside sales force with lead generation, market intelligence, and contact with current customers.

This role has been designated as fully Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Customer prospecting utilizing web-based customer information software focused specifically on our strategic customer profiles.
- Customer qualification and ongoing management of customer relationship requirements
- Act as a key contact to customers to provide information on the complete sales cycle from quote through delivery.
- Respond quickly to customer requests to generate sales.
- Ensure that all paperwork, purchase orders, reports, etc., are maintained to respond to customer inquiries timely and ensure internal process requirements.
- Ensure the order process is complete and error-free.
- Work cross functionally with legal on terms and conditions for customer contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Interest and ability to learn about our Life Science Solutions customers and products.
- Customer service and inside sales experience required.
- Ability to understand the need, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
- High level of customer service to provide value-added service
- Salesforce CRM experience and reporting capabilities required
- LinkedIn, Zoom info, and other similar industry customer profile software solutions
- A strong knowledge and comfort level with computers.
- Life Science industry experience is preferred but not required.

Base Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000
