Are you a motivated sales hunter who loves finding and onboarding new business? We are
looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our Inside Sales Team. Manitoulin Transport is a dynamic, technology driven company with the largest direct Less Than Truckload (LTL) coverage in Canada. We are part of the Manitoulin Group of Companies which offers the opportunity for growth within our organization.

The Inside Sales Representatives (ISP) help to support and grow assigned outside sales
territories. You must be comfortable making several calls per day, working with internal
departments, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.


Job Description


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with assigned outside reps to grow the revenue base
  • Minimum of 15 outbound calls per day- mix of cold calls/ prospecting, account reviews, conflict resolution & past customers.
  • Call notes to be updated in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that same day
  • Review quotes to identify opportunities
  • Provide customer demos on our online platform
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales reports

Qualifications


Skills & Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills through the phone

  • Comfortable using Google Office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint)

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Must be flexible and willing to adapt when dealing with challenging circumstances, customer demands, last minute requests and deadlines

  • Post Secondary School - Diploma or Degree (Required)
