About The Role Where providing better care gives a greater sense of pride As inpatients Health Care Assistant in our Southampton team you will be responsible for assisting the nursing team with patient care, keeping records, stock control, equipment maintenance and maintaining the cleanliness of the department. Ensuring that all procedures performed meet individual patient needs, reflect good practice and are provided by means of appropriate equipment, within the agreed patient care pathways. Reporting all accidents and incidents are reported to the Ward Manager and be responsible for maintaining accurate, timely and complete records, ensuring the safety and confidentiality of information. This role will be 12 hours shifts and require working some weekends and bank holidays. About You We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of teamwork and a good work ethic Already achieved your NVQ level 2 Ideally, you will have experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
