Our brands are industry icons. And our success is thanks to the strength of our people, in every role. It’s why we trust them with our legacy. And it's why we reward them with the career-defining opportunities that they deserve. Our ambition is to create the best performing, most trusted and respected Consumer Products Company in the world. To achieve these, we need the world’s very best people.
Have you ever wanted to walk into a bar or a shop see a product and say: "I did that! I saw that through from concept to commercialisation, into production, and onto the shelf." Yes? Then this could be the role for you.
About the Role
The role of I&BC Project Manager is a crucial part of our multifaceted Innovation & Brand Change Coordination Team. As a member of this team, you will report to the Innovation & Brand Change Breakthrough Innovation Transform Lead, driving our mission to become the most innovative, trusted, and respected consumer goods company globally.
Your primary responsibility as an I&BC Project Manager will be to lead and deliver Breakthrough Innovation projects. This pivotal role plays a significant part in shaping Diageo's journey towards achieving our ambitious goals.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with key partners, categories, and functions to ensure Breakthrough Innovation projects are integrated into category plans. Furthermore, you will ensure that sustainability solutions are seamlessly integrated into our pipeline and category strategy, providing a clear roadmap for implementing new technologies and innovations as part of our routine brand change efforts.
Your responsibilities will also encompass driving improvement programs that empower category teams to accelerate innovation speed to market. This role strikes a balance between being responsible for Breakthrough Innovation projects and leading impactful improvement initiatives.
About you
We’re looking for people with character: motivated, resilient, and open-minded. You’ll be commercially astute; target driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also be ready to build positive relationships with everyone you work with.
You'll have experience in technical, planning, innovation, or manufacturing roles, preferably within the FMCG industry. Project Management certification or degree would be an advantage.
You'll possess strong stakeholder relationship-building skills, analytical abilities with attention to detail, and an interest in developing critical metrics. Good financial and commercial understanding, along with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, are crucial.
Proficiency in IT, change management, lean six sigma, and familiarity with navigating the Gate process are also desired qualities.

We view diversity as one of the key enablers that helps our business to grow and our values, purpose and standards set the conditions for us to respect the unique contribution each person brings.
