At Sherwin-Williams at our Bolton site we produce Protective Coatings and Marine Coating paints which cover buildings and floorings across the world.
To provide a “world class” customer service to our Sherwin-Williams customers across the EMEAI region through a proactive and highly focused service we require another member of the Customer Service team. I this role you will provide a high level of world class support and service to the Regional Spokes and thereby external customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the resources across the EMEAI team according to operational requirements
- Process specialist orders across multiple SW business platforms including Functional Coatings, ME Flooring, P&M Non UK.
- Provide support for effective Global Spoke Management including stock levels, avoidance of obsolescence, set up of new products, Rationalization of existing products, and manage physical inventories.
- Work to initiate a team culture with existing spoke employees to ensure world class customer service is provided. Manage the Flooring Distribution Centers effectively, including stock levels and obsolescence.
- Accurately process orders received by the EMEA sales inbox, inbound calls and other means ensuring correct products and volumes are entered into Order Management
- Ensure all export regulations are adhered to in coordination with SW dispatch team
- Work closely with existing spoke/Distribution team members including ME Phoenix, ME Flooring, ME P&M to ensure effective use of global SW resource and prompt customer service.
- Contribute & maintain the smooth running of the department and the regional spokes.
- Work with Sales & Marketing to manage the product portfolio’s of each spoke and the Flooring range
- Perform regular Flooring & Spoke inventory reviews with Finance, Sales and the regional spokes to ensure inventory is managed effectively and obsolescence is avoided.
- Perform spoke Audits. CRM Quality/SLA. Inventory/PI checks. Portfolio performance.
- Co-ordinate roll out of new colours to Spokes with P&M Colour Team.
- Co-ordinate New Product launches across all spokes (TDS/MSDS/Pricing/inventory management)
- Co-ordinate rationalization and rebranding of products within spokes.
- Co-ordinate CRM/Supply chain of US produced Functional Coatings products within the EMEAI region.
- Regular visits to EMEAI spokes to ensure P&M expected service levels are met and any issues are swiftly resolved.
- Ensure solid relationships are built with Spokes & customer base
Qualifications/ Experience required for the role:
- Customer service experience
- Experience of working in a fast pace, dynamic office environment
- High level of commercial awareness
- High level of written & spoken English is essential, a second language skill is desirable (any European)
- High level of understanding of Export procedures and international supply chain desirable
- Fully conversant with order management processes and procedures
- Proactive and dynamic in approach
- Ability to forge excellent relationships
- Excellent, professional phone manner

Please note this role requires onsite working for 3 days a week at our Bolton, Greater Manchester site and the option of 2 days a week at home once training is completed.
