Job description:
IT is a key support function within Forvia Faurecia and is vital to the success of the day-to-day running of the company. This placement will allow students to put their studies into practice whilst developing and gaining skills by being involved in critical tasks within a large global company.
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Assist the IT team to provide front line support to local facility hardware and software
- Support data process and validation tasks including database management and data processing
- Support the IT team with implementation of new business systems e.g. SAP
- Support adherence to “netiquette” and internal controls
- Monitor, maintain and improve security indicators
- Assist the monitoring of critical production servers and computers
- Support deployment and training of IT projects
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate second year student on target for 2:1 or above
- Enthusiastic, motivated and well organised
- Strong written, communication and computer skills
- Hardworking, flexible and reliable
- Able to work well within a team
- Committed to continuous improvement
