VACANCY: Caretaker
Pay: £10.90 per hour
Location: Weoley Hill Village Hall
Job Profile
We are recruiting for a Caretaker (1o hours per week) to support the successful management of the Weoley Hill Village Hall. Working as part of BVT’s Community Development & Involvement Team, you will work closely with colleagues and the Weoley Hill Village Council to provide hands-on support to the visitors to the Hall and the groups that deliver a diverse range of activities there.
You will play an integral part in achieving our mission of championing people and community building so that the Hall remains at the heart of the neighbourhood. You will also work alongside the Caretaker of Shenley Court Hall to ensure that they are safe, clean and accessible for the whole community.
Candidate Profile

As the Caretaker you will bring the following key skills to the role:
- Previous experience in a similar role across caretaking, cleaning or handyperson services or a customer first focused environment
- Well organised with an ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills that result in clear actions and results
- Good listener
