**Scotland’s No 1** Prestige Vehicle Accident Repairer has a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Spray Painter to join our expanding team in our State of the Art Bodyshop in Glasgow.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter, working at a high standard within a fast paced environment. They will be an excellent team player and an effective communicator with strong knowledge of Preparing and Refinishing damaged vehicles.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working as Part of Our Paint Team, Follow and Understand Repair Instructions.
  • Clean and Prepare Surfaces and Apply Prime Coats After the Repair of Panels.
  • Clean, Mask and Prepare Surfaces and Vehicles Prior to Painting.
  • Carry Out Quality Control Checks Throughout Each Stage of the Paint Process.
  • Select and Mix Primers, Base Coat and Clear Coats By Eye And Using Colour Camera.
  • Apply Base Coat, Ceramic and Tinted Clear Coat and Top Coat Finishes.
  • Carry Out S.M.A.R.T Repair Techniques and Flatten and Polishing Techniques.
  • Clean and Maintain All Spray Painting Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Undertake manufacturer and product based paint training.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience as a Body Shop Paint Technician.
  • Have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Body Shop Paint Technician.
  • Gained technical qualification to carry out duties as a Paint Technician.
  • Knowledge of water based paint system and application of products.
  • Ideally a current ATA Senior Paint Technician qualification.
