What are we looking for?
At SentinelOne, we know cyber security. Knowing security, we want to ensure exceptional protection to our data and the customer data we process. Our Information Security Team is looking for a Security Engineer to administer various InfoSec systems, advance our use of Security tools, evaluate new security tools, and help automate processes. This position includes critical duties during crisis situations, which may necessitate extended hours of work, and on-call work.
What will you do?
Deploy, manage, and maintain endpoint protection software for the global SentinelOne organization.
Assist in implementing and managing intrusion detection solutions, incident detection software, and other relevant information security systems.
Conduct cyber vulnerability assessments of various asset types and participate in remediation activities.
Collaborate with business partners and work cross-functionally with other department team members to accomplish security and compliance goals.
Create work instructions that follow corporate policies and implement information security controls across SentinelOne's environment.
Participate in certification efforts and support audits.
Participate in technical planning for access control, security models, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and security awareness training.
Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot internal information technology security, application security, access controls, and corporate data safeguards.
Assist in performing root cause analysis during security incidents.
Assist in executing internal security testing and manage 3rd party vendors executing security tests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of information security threats, vulnerabilities, practices, principles, and solutions.
Use automation to optimize security processes and enhance reliability and standardization. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
What skills and knowledge you should bring?
Strong knowledge of infrastructure security concepts including network devices, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, identity services, web applications, encryption, forensic analysis, penetration/vulnerability tools, physical access control systems, video surveillance systems, linux/windows/macOS, virtualization, desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
Experience with programming or scripting languages to support the implementation of automated solutions and custom technology integrations.
Familiar with operating system hardening techniques.
Familiar with physical security controls and best practices.
Familiar with least privileged approach to systems management.
Understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures used to exploit cyber systems (Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK).
Experience with change control processes, and continuous improvement.
Basic understanding of IT security industry standards (e.g., ISO27001; SSAE16).
BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, CSE, EE or related field. CISSP or similar certificate with 4 or more years' experience will be considered
