The Information Team are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join their innovative, award winning team as Information Analyst. This role will appeal to a anyone with ambitions to further their career in a fast-paced, industry-leading data science team.
The Information Team have developed a reputation for putting Information in the hands of those who need it. As part of a Business Intelligence Unit, you will help deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting & analysis to those that need it, using a variety of platforms. You’ll use your technical skills to plan, extract, and present information to our clinical services and operational managers in ways which enable them to make informed decisions about the running of the Care Group and its services.
The main duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- In Data Management
- Work with colleagues from Information Development to support the design and build of complex data outputs or new data collections
- Work with in-department templated processes to build news metrics, reports and dashboards
- Undertake internal SQL training and apply best practices to revise & review code when required
- Ensure any undertaken data collection, input and extraction is done to internal best practice standards and in line with any relevant Information Governance
- In Reporting
- Responsible for the delivery of specific regular and ad-hoc reports to Trust clinical and managerial staff. This analysis will include information to support business planning, operational and performance management, as well as support to specific service improvement developments within the Trust.
- Ensure that data collection, processing and analysis is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Able to discuss new requests or outputs of previous reports with service users over the phone one-to-one, or in meetings face to face or virtually.
- Communicates analytical/statistical matters to non-analytical/statistical professionals, advises, persuades on statistical techniques to be used.
- Able to output reporting using Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Power BI packages, able to learn to develop skills with other software platforms as required.
