Job description
The post holder will work as part of the Infection Prevention Team to ensure that the infection prevention and control service is delivered smoothly, sensitively, and as effectively as possible.
They will undertake surveillance and audit of Healthcare Associated Infections, the healthcare environment and clinical practice associated with IPC; by collecting, and inputting data into established data bases.
The post holder, with appropriate training, will be able to visit clinical areas to provide education and guidance to staff from a variety of professions as well as auditing practice.
