Role Title: Industry Director, Manufacturing Transport and Logistics
Primary Location: One Snowhill, Birmingham
What will you be doing:
- Accountability for overall business performance including growth of P&L (including Income, Debt and Deposit growth) and improving ROE trend.
- Growing the market share within your defined Industry sector through growth of quality new business within the Large Corporate segments
- Working proactively in partnership with Industry Heads to ensure that sector strategy and content is formulated and communicated to the clients and support delivery on a National basis.
- Ensure an excellent service is being delivered to customers, consistently meeting their ongoing needs, while operating to required levels of cost. Proactive management of all risk aspects including conduct and credit risk, ensuring all team members are fully compliant
- Work in partnership with Credit Risk to maintain a risk and reward balance to ensure no avoidable impairment.
- Maintain strong external and internal knowledge to be at the forefront of what our customers need and changes within the external market and deploy this to new strategic thinking. Maintain a strong external network which is regularly leveraged.
- Direct leadership accountability for 7/8 Relationship Directors ensuring high levels of Industry knowledge, that everyone understands what is expected of them and how they are performing against their goals and achieving great customer outcomes. Ensuring that they have the appropriate resources, skills, and knowledge to be effective, efficient, and compliant.
- Direct leadership accountability for a Head of Support Team leader ensuring high levels of delivery from the relationship support team ensuring everyone understands what is expected of them and how they are performing against their goals and achieving great customer outcomes. Ensuring that they have the appropriate resources, skills, and knowledge to be effective, efficient, and compliant
