These posts present a fantastic opportunity for the right individuals to progress their career within the Oscar Mayer group.What you'll be doingThe role is fast paced in an environment where the safety of all our colleagues is paramount.Producing sauces to the specification recorded on the cook sheet.Completing all documentation associated with the cooking process to the standard required.Taking personal responsibility for ingredients and raw materials, while having an in depth knowledge of the materials used in the cooking process.Participating in sensory evaluation sessions and using the knowledge gained to ensure that sauces are cooked to the correct specification.Supplying High Risk assembly with the correctly cooked sauce at the right time.Keeping the work environment safe and clean to the standards required in accordance with H&S and hygiene legislation.What key skills would be desirableQualified to City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in Food and Drink.Experience gained in manufacturing or hospitality kitchens.A willingness to undertake personal development initiatives to achieve personal and organisational objectives.To be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.The ability to problem solve and employ critical thinking.Job Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £27,300.00-£30,885.40 per yearBenefits:Bereavement leaveCanteenCompany eventsCompany pensionDiscounted or free foodLife insuranceOn-site parkingReferral programmeSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Wrexham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
