In Croda Pharma we are looking to build upon our vast experience in purified excipients and how to diversify our product offerings into a range of pharmaceutical applications.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Placement Student to join our team at Cowick, East Yorkshire for 12 months from July/August/September 2024. The successful candidate will work on research and development projects in our Pharma Applications group. The role will involve the investigation of pharmaceutical grade excipients for use in human and veterinary drug applications. The role may also involve the handling of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Duties will involve practical laboratory work and report writing. The project work carried out during the placement will be of sufficient academic complexity to meet the requirements of a university industrial placement degree course.

Essentials:
- You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally
- You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload
- Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skill are essential for this role
- You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working toward a 2.1 in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Pharmacy/Biology or related degree

- Previous work experience within the chemical industry
