As a member of the SCE Technical Community your contribution is essential to enable Skanska to achieve its purpose of Building for a Better Society through delivering Operational Excellence. The Skanska technical community combines BIM, Business Improvement, Design Management, Document Control, Engineering, Engineering Surveying, Temporary Works and Quality.
You Will:
- Ensure that they team have the correct training/knowledge in how to work safely.
- Develop the engineering survey team members to meet project needs.
- Ensure that the project have the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements.
- Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence
- Share expert advice and guidance to the members of the engineering survey teams and other parts of the business related to engineering surveying and geospatial best practice.
- Provide a topographical survey in preparation for engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information.
- Review with the engineering team that sufficient information is available
We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying: (Desirable) or ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or previous experience as a Graduate Engineering Surveyor or Engineering surveying Technician.
- Ability to use survey instruments, software and working methods.
- Technical professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body : (Must Have)
- Commercial awareness.
