Office based: 8.30 to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, full time (part time considered also)

Location: Dakota Business Park, Speke, Liverpool and North West Region, with good public transport links, ample parking, accessible lift

Brief overview

Spice Kitchen are looking for a proactive and strong admin person who will be responsible for supporting multiple team members at our Headquarters in Speke.

This role will form a key part of the team (we have an amazing one here).

We are a family run business selling beautiful spice tins, gifts and individual spices to domestic and retail customers. Everything we do is focused on delivering an exceptional and personalised customer experience: from our products, packaging, quality of our spices to our communication style.

Specific areas of responsibility

Business management and administration

  • Diary management
  • Processing orders (trade and consumer)
  • Managing subscriptions
  • Ordering stock
  • Answering calls
  • Filing
  • Assisting with trade show planning (basic admin)
  • New supplier form filling
  • Setting up IT for calls / interviews
  • Printing Labels for warehouse
  • Looking after guests/visitors/board room
  • Customer service
  • Typing 1:1 notes
  • Accounting Admin

Marketing tasks

  • Uploading content/recipes to website
  • Updating content calendar
  • Updating listings – we have a VA working on this at the moment but it would be great to have someone in house working on this more regularly
  • Filing/saving images on Dropbox, making sure filing is up to date
  • Updating PR database
  • Uploading product information to Trade Show portals
  • Responding to TrustPilot reviews – really great for our reputation to respond to every TrustPilot review, we used to do this but has slipped
  • Responding to social media comments – something we should definitely be doing more of, even if it’s a Thank You
  • Helping me to create PR files with all company articles and content in one place

Operations tasks

  • Supporting with food safety compliance
  • Stock control
