Job description
With over 60 years’ experience – Pasta Foods is the UK’s only dried pasta manufacturer, supplying a wide range of food sectors from canned goods, salads, instant, ready meals, foodservice and wholesale customers.
An opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Cleaner to join our team at Pasta Foods, Norwich.
The purpose of this role is to keep the high and low levels of the factory and machinery clean in an efficient and safe manner and ensure that cleaning standards are always met.
The main duties of the role include scrubbing, hoovering, washing, mopping, use of the ride on floor cleaner, responsible for mixing chemicals for cleaning duties, ensuring that machinery, equipment and cleaning cupboard is kept in a clean and tidy state as well as other general cleaning duties.
The right candidate will need to have a positive attitude, be flexible, eager to learn and reliable. They will also be comfortable to work at height on scissor and genie lifts (once trained) and working in a hot environment in confined spaces. It would be desirable to have working knowledge of operational and industrial cleaning equipment.
The hours of work will be 8:00am – 4:30pm from Monday to Friday (40 hours).
