Job description
We are currently looking for experienced cleaning staff to work at an NHS warehouse in LS10 on temporary ongoing contracts. The positions are Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, working either 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm. Weekend shifts will be available with enhanced pay. Applicants must be flexible and able to work any of these shifts as they vary week to week. The successful cleaners will be receiving medical equipment, such as crutches and wheelchairs, dismantling the equipment, cleaning the components and then reassembling the equipment ready for storage. Training on how to handle and work with the equipment will be provided, however some items may be heavy and bulky, so applicant must be comfortable with this sort of manual work. As this role is within the healthcare sector, applicants must have, or be willing to be put through, a Standard DBS check upon starting in the position. For these, the client offers hourly rates between £10.42 per hour, with higher rates up to £19.07 per hour for weekends. These are temporary positions for the coming months, however they could turn permanent for the right applicants. Immediate starts available.
