Job description
-Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen.-Understanding responsibilities for fire procedures, health, and safety, COSSH, infection control, food hygiene, and emergency aid.-Managing, training, and recruiting kitchen staff.-Producing menus and new Indian traditional dishes.-Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.-Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.-Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.-Manage food costing and inventory.-Develop and plan menus and daily specials.
