We’re recruiting talented Sales Consultants to join our highly successful sales and retention teams in Tunbridge Wells on a permanent, full time basis. You’ll be an essential member of the team; talking to customers who have either left their company, and are looking to continue with Private Healthcare Insurance. Or, within Retention you’ll listen to our customers’ needs and provide suitable cover options offering tailored solutions to help retain their Healthcare.
You’ll need to be comfortable having sensitive conversations and taking an empathetic approach as required. In addition, you’ll be required to translate factual and sometimes complex information in a simple way, converting these enquiries into both sales and retention opportunities through building rapport and active listening skills.
After an initial training period of 3 months, you'll have the opportunity to work in the way which suits you best - whether that be full time in the Tunbridge Wells office or a blend of office and home working with an average of 6 days per month office based. Work life balance is incredibly important at AXA Health, we aim to give everyone the means to enjoy life outside of work, as well as the time to do so.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, rotating shifts Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm with some Saturday 9am to 1pm shifts.

Induction & Training:

When you join us, you’ll be given extensive training on our products and tools to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to succeed. You’ll receive one to one coaching sessions, take part in role plays, and even listen to live calls. Our sessions will help to motivate and inspire you as well as support you with your sales and retention techniques.

- Talking to customers (using call guides) who have either left their company, and are looking to continue with Private Healthcare Insurance.
- Listing to customers’ needs and providing suitable cover options.
- Offering tailored solutions.
- Having sensitive conversations.
- Translating factual complex information in a simple way.
- Converting enquiries into both sales and retention opportunities.
- Building customer rapport.

Qualifications
No previous experience is required! If you come from a customer facing role, hospitality, or retail background and want to explore a new sector, this could be a great opportunity for a career change. We’ll provide all the technology and training, and in return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm, passion for customer service.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
