Regional Manager

For the position of South Yorkshire Regional Manager, we are looking for an exceptional woman to lead our teams across Barnsley and Sheffield. Ideally you will have experience of managing and inspiring teams, be an excellent communicator and have a great understanding of the impacts of domestic abuse. This post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The purpose of the role is to work to improve the experience and safeguarding of victims and survivors of domestic abuse in respect of child and family court proceedings. This involves working with partners to make improvements to systems, processes, and proceedings. Specifically, you will be liaising with relevant stakeholders, including solicitors and members of the judiciary and will act as a point of contact for the wider team to advise and support on issues relating to the family court. This post can be located in either Sheffield or Barnsley.

Working within our dedicated Barnsley Community Team you will support young people who are subject to or have been subject to domestic violence and abuse, ensuring that they receive high quality support, advice and information to enhance their safety and to help them recover the harmful impacts of abuse. To build positive relationships with colleges, universities and other agencies in contact with or supporting young people to ensure that they know how to recognise domestic abuse and refer to IDAS services.
