About the Role
This is an exciting new opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Endpoint Engineer to join the Infrastructure Services team in IT Services and actively contribute to the further development of the University’s IT infrastructure, application, and endpoint services to deliver our hybrid IT infrastructure roadmap, and to enhance the experiences of our user community.
You will provide technical management, compliance and security and support of all University endpoint devices. You will also lead the delivery and management of the Universities desktop and mobile device environment, including standard software build configurations, application packaging and deployment, Operating System updates and security patching.

About You
As IT Infrastructure Endpoint Engineer you will:
- Be a skilled IT professional, with significant experience of a range of technologies including Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory/Azure AD, Group Policy, Intune, M365 and Windows Server and desktop operating systems, administration, and deployment services.
- Have a relevant undergraduate qualification.
- Be flexible, reliable, and demonstrate a professional, pro-active and customer focussed approach.
- Have excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and capability for technical discovery and investigation of complex IT scenarios.
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
- Have effective communication skills with an ability to develop positive working relationships.
- Have ability to implement complex IT developments from conception to completion.
- Ideally have experience of Linux and virtualisation technologies
