We have a tremendous opportunity within an expanding area of the bank, that is rapidly growing their teams over the coming months.
This position sits within the Resilience, Response and Recover function and will fall under the Chief Resilience & Control Office (CRCO) business unit. This is an exciting role where you will learn new skills, work with a great team with the potential scope for progression.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and an appetite to learn, as you will be supporting your team in the management and co-ordination of all severities of incidents, regardless of incident type as defined by the Santander UK Incident & Crisis Management Response Framework
The difference you’ll make.
Supporting the management of Special Situations by facilitating emergency notifications via the Everbridge Notification System, including supporting the maintenance of incident and crisis management contact details of all nominated SME’s within the Business Units, Functions & CoE’s.
Providing secretariat responsibilities for Bronze Levels 0 – 1 events and supporting at Special Situation Level 2 Silver Forum and Level 3 Gold Committee.
Providing support in the crisis exercises including site recovery model planning.
Providing cover for Santander Early Escalation Notification (SEEN) process.
The role may, on rare occasion, require support to Incident and Crisis Managers outside of normal working hours including evenings and weekends, for which you will receive time off in lieu (TOIL)
What you’ll bring.
Experience in event and incident management
Proven relationship and communication skills, ability to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way and be sensitive to audience diversity.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Demonstrate general technical knowledge across Information Technology
Good knowledge of Santander products, services, policies, procedures, and organisational structure
Strong analytical and PC skills
Acts as a subject matter expert across risk areas of specialism, regarded throughout Risk and key business areas as the first point of call for advice.
