We work closely with various partners to ensure individuals in community have the support they need to thrive, grow, recover and excel. You can check out the REST Thetford Hub video by visiting our Norfolk and Waveney Mind YouTube channel.
Two services are delivered through the REST Hub:
Day Time Service & Evening Sanctuary. The Day Time or Day Hub offers the opportunity for individuals to easily access mental health support. The service offers a drop-in option which can be delivered as a structured or unstructured support. Structured support are regular reoccurring non-clinical therapeutic sessions that help understand one's self, identify coping strategies and progress through the recovery journey. Non-structured support offers similar sessions to the structure with planned reoccurring sessions. Evening Sanctuary focuses on supporting individuals who are in crisis using various de-escalation methods and techniques. Both the Day and Evening team work closely with other NHS and Blue light services to help reduce hospitalisation where it is not required. Staff are provided adequate training to ensure they have the skill and knowledge to deliver an excellent, safe service.
