We are currently seeking a passionate and driven In Room Dining Coordinator to join the management team here at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah.

About the role

As the In Room Dining Supervisor, you will be responsible in supporting the In room Dining Manager within the In Room Dining Department along with our Health Club and Spa lounge in the most efficient and effective manner. You will be a true representation of Jumeirah’s visions and values and have a keen drive for developing talent within the team.

Key Duties: 

  • Ensure a smooth, efficient and high service focused operation where the satisfaction of all guests is paramount
  • Supervise, motivate and develop all Room Service colleagues to achieve highest levels of service excellence as well as highly positive colleague relations
  • To control and project strong and seamless interdepartmental coordination with all other F&B outlets, their managers and colleagues
  • To handle guest relations including complaints, requests and enquiries concerning food, beverage and service.
  • To have complete knowledge of all areas of the Room Service Department including food and beverage menu
  • To supervise the preparation and service of all Guest orders, ensuring efficient quality control of the delivery of all items
  • To take special care in checking the preparation of VIP gifts.
  • To liaise with Reception for the allocation of rooms, and arrival of VIP guests.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Ideally experience in a similar position within a luxury 5 star environment is desirable
  • Excellent level of English
  • Excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues.
  • Effective organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload
  • Excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality.
  • Friendly, approachable and professional
  • Have a strong eye for detail
