In-House Photographer / Office eCommerce Assistant Broxburn, Scotland
Job description
We are an ever-expanding home and garden business operating via ecommerce only, selling a wide range of products for the home and garden.
We are looking for a driven, experienced and focused Photographer to join our growing team.
Applicant must be a hardworking and actively focused individual willing to work collaboratively with our small team on pushing the business forward.
The role entails:
- Product Photography
- Photo editing (including removal of backgrounds, adding sizing and polishing products)
- Scene setting
- Basic Videography
Essential requirements:
- Good knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom
- Proactive and forward thinking
- Good eye for composition and product framing
The applicant must have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. We are looking for a dedicated worker who can multi-task and adapt to changes within the business. The role will be performed in and around our site, where we have in-house equipment and modern indoor and garden studios.
The successful candidate will preferably need to have basic WooCommerce knowledge. Responsibilities will include all aspects of backend website work; updating prices, images and regular maintenance to the website, correspondence with our suppliers to obtain up to date images and prices, communicating with our web site developers with regards to larger website work if required.
We are looking for a candidate who is extremely focused, fully self-motivated and experienced in creating plans and enacting them through each stage to completion with confidence. Problem solving is a must, the candidate should be comfortable self-teaching and possess organisational skills as an essential requirement.
Additional elements of the Role:
- Basic website knowledge(WooCommerce experience would be advantageous)
- Adobe Suite
- Graphic design/photo manipulation
- Social Media Content Creation
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
