Job description
As a valued member of our team, you will provide efficient and proactive service to our customers, overseas partners, and related service providers. The role will encompass all aspects of Import and Export operations, ensuring customer service excellence.
- Liaise with shippers and consignees to arrange collections, clearances, and deliveries.
- Produce shipping documentation, including MAWB, HAWB, and Customs Declarations.
- Investigate and promptly respond to all customer queries and complaints.
- Support the Sales and Customer Service Manager during customer visits when required.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external customers.
- Create job files, manage invoicing, and ensure cost control and reporting.
- Interact with various teams, including Sales Product Management, Gateway, Overseas offices, and Warehouse teams.
- Engage with external service providers such as shippers, consignees, transport hauliers, and airlines.
- Previous experience in Airfreight Import/Export (desirable).
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- A customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong communication skills.
- GCSE standard in English and Maths.
- Full training and continued professional development to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
