We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated Impact Advisor to foster the growth of innovation and research impact.
The Impact Adviser supports Bournemouth University (BU) to develop research impact in line with the institutional strategy; BU2025. The postholder will be responsible for leading activities and initiatives to enable BU’s researchers to identify, develop, communicate, and evidence impact arising from BU research. They will focus on developing a culture of research impact at BU and ensuring emerging areas of impact are supported for inclusion in future Research Excellence Framework (REF) and Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) exercises. The postholder will work in the central Research Development and Support (RDS) but will provide dedicated impact support in two Faculties.
This is an exciting and varied position. The successful candidate will have experience of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to communicate complex ideas in an engaging way to a variety of audiences.
