Job Description
As a Radiology Departmental Assistant you will assist with patient care and clinical procedures, ensuring and maintaining the smooth running of the department. The successful post holder will also help To help radiologists, radiographers, nurses and administration as required.

Duties & Responsibilities
To demonstrate excellent clinical practice at all times.
Comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety.
Answer telephone enquiries, referring where appropriate.
To assist with setting up for procedures and help with minor clinical procedures under the supervision of trained clinical staff.
To as· To assist in stock management and control.
To assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department.
Arrange patient transfers
To assist the radiologists lists, radiographers, nurses and admin staff in the department as required.
Schedule patient appointments.
Skills and experience
Previous Hospital Healthcare experience desirable
Radiology Department experience is desirable
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Exceptional communication and organisation skills.
Ability to be flexible with working patterns
Competent IT user to include Word and Excel
