As an ICT Database Administrator at Durham Constabulary, you will play a pivotal role in looking at administration, maintenance, performance tuning, high availability, backup, and DR across the Force’s database environments.

A bit about you…
You will be a Database Administrator who is committed, self-motivated and lead by example. You will be required to support, monitor, and maintain the databases that service all in-house and third party supplied applications as well as designing and developing performant new database solutions that support the Force’s plan on a page.
You will be an excellent team player with the ability to use your knowledge of technology, user needs and business goals to frame problems and set priorities, while working within the parameters of the Departments Service Level Agreements, the Service Catalogue and ITIL.
Working in a fast-paced environment requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, alongside analytical skills, investigative work and ability to adapt and learn on the job.

Salary: £32,409.00-£35,223.00 per year
