Jensten Group are recruiting a key leadership position within our London Markets IBA team. The purpose of this role is to provide oversight of the Insurance Broking Accounting activities and the responsibility for the application of controls in line with the Group’s CASS and client money handling procedures, including the monthly client money calculation.

You will need a collaborative and innovative approach to working and coaching teams with the ability and gravitas to quickly build strong and trusting relationships with the London Market Insurance Broking stakeholder group.

We are seeking a self starter able to work effectively remotely and comfortable managing teams in our hybrid/ remote structure, whilst ensuring outstanding customer outcomes and within required SLA's.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure CASS compliance at all times and adhere to FCA client money rules.
• Introduce controls in line with the Group’s CASS and client money handling procedures & policies to ensure compliance with the Group’s procedures
• Ensure that client money calculations are performed in line with the groups CASS procedures
• Oversee Month End process for Client Money reporting and controls
• Produce statement of accounts on a monthly basis and distribute via email.
• Strong emphasis on credit control, including investigating and chasing aged debts.
• Produce aged debt and unsettled items reports and present these in a format that can be submitted to the Finance Director and at Board level.
  
• Notify internal claims department of claim receipts and payments received via Lloyds or Lirma
  
• Align all Brokasure Reports to MI Production to ensure that policy and transaction data is reported on the same basis.
