Job description
Leading UK Investment Manager with over £1BN of assets under management across the commercial and alternative sectors, are looking for a Senior Asset Manager to take responsibility for their own portfolio. They are looking for someone with either a Private Equity or Investment Management background, who has very good excel skills as they take a very rigorous financial approach to their Asset Management initiatives. They are very busy at the moment growing the portfolio and with a hold cycle of circa three years the Asset Management work is fairly intensive. They do a mix of value add, large development sites as well as longer leases, and the portfolio includes Student, Industrial, Hotel, Retail and Retail Parks, Offices, etc.
Responsibilities:
- The SAM is responsible for the timely delivery of development projects in line with or better than the approved or agreed revised business plan.
- The operational performance of leased assets across the Property Asset Management portfolio and the quality of occupier relations.
- Providing all necessary support for asset acquisitions and disposals.
- Development appraisal and Development Management
- Creation of value enhancing strategies and plans for assets that meet occupier/occupier market requirements.
- Clear and thorough business plans, with key milestones, prepared and maintained up-to-date for all assets.
- Timely and effective implementation of asset business plans.
Requirements
- Clientside Asset Management experience within a Private Equity or Investment / Asset Management firm
- At least six years demonstrable experience driving value from mixed use portfolio’s, ideally including operational assets
- Strong academics and a relevant RE or Financial qualification
