To provide evidence-based counselling modalities in line with NICE guidance and the IAPT manual to adults experiencing depression that meet suitability criteria to benefit from IAPT. To work collaboratively with IAPT colleagues who 'Step' people assessed as requiring Counselling for depression.
If you are accredited with a professional body or are ready to submit for accreditation with the required minimum of 450 clinical hours but not PCE CfD trained/qualified we may be able to offer you a conditional fixed term band 5 role dependent on you being accepted on the June cohort of PCE CfD training at York St John University and qualifying in this model (and being accredited) within 1 year of employment. On gaining accreditation and becoming qualified in PCE CfD you would be offered a permanent contract on Band 6.
Sheffield IAPT works closely with GP Practice teams across Sheffield providing a wide range of psychological interventions to people experiencing Depression and Anxiety - operating within a Stepped Care Model. This is a hybrid working position, working both remotely and on site.
