Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To enable a people eco system around moments that matter – delivering value at every touchpoint and provide HR service and support to aGolf employees across Europe, South Africa and UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the office closure of the adidas Golf Basingstoke satellite office.
  • Strategic Business Partner, Coach and HR Lead for aGolf EMEA, with the primary objective of developing and implementing the Company’s HR and other business strategies, so as to achieve the financial, non-financial, people & organizational objectives of the company.
  • Help to create and foster a culture that recognizes outstanding achievement, enables individuals to reach their potential, and ensures all employees are treated with respect and fairness in the performance of their responsibilities.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with Management and contribute to the decision-making process of structuring and developing the team aGolf EMEA.
  • Actively support business initiatives and business needs with effective HR measures and promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
  • Ensure that all aspects of staffing, employee relations, employee development, compensation & benefits of the adidas group are delivered timely and in accordance with relevant labor and commercial legislation, in line with corporate guidelines for adidas Golf EMEA employees.
  • Support and drive development initiatives, in close co-ordination with Group Talent Management and Learning and in close alignment with EMEA and global partners, in the areas of Training, Career- and Succession Planning as well as Organizational development efforts.
  • Build effective relationships with HR Partners across adidas EMEA, to ensure alignment and adherence to local employment regulations and legal requirements.
  • Provides counsel to management and employees on various human resources matters including employee relations, performance management, employment law compliance, policy interpretation, compensation and benefits, and recruitment.
  • Partners with management to diagnose organizational design, development or training needs of the organization and make the most appropriate tool or resource available to meet the business needs.
  • Partners closely with management of aGolf in structuring and developing their respective teams to maximize performance and employee engagement.
  • Coaches Managers on talent and succession management and how to best to motivate and challenge all members of their teams, (from high performers to under performers) to ensure employee performance, engagement and accountability.
  • Developing and delivering communications programs that successfully impart the company’s mission, values, culture, and objectives.
  • Manage personnel planning, annual salary rounds and promotions/salary adjustments in accordance with GSMS-process and in close cooperation with each countries Rewards department across EMEA to guarantee consistent salary and bonus management processes.
  • Analyze business demands and consult Business leaders with tailored Talent solutions (non-core) for the identified business demands. Design, drive and lead the implementation of non-core products and services in respective aGolf EMEA.
  • Control the execution of On-boarding and Off-boarding processes according to the guidelines of the company to ensure comply the internal processes and local legal requirements.

  • Senior Leadership Team across aGolf EMEA
  • Close relationship with Global HR Counterparts to implement global HR tools and strategies adapting programs to fit local and regional employees
  • Management and employees across aGolf EMEA
  • HR BPs & Specialists across adidas EMEA

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Level 5 Diploma qualified or relevant industry experience
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge
  • Ability to influence senior management in relation to people and team matters.
  • Strong employee relations and organizational development experience.
  • Strong process orientation, analytical and planning abilities with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to connect with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong PC skills that include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to evaluate organizations, identify themes and work with leaders in order to identify HR solutions in order for them to increase effectiveness.
