Title: HR Manager
Reports to: CEO
Based at: Farboud Innovation Park, Newmarket
Broad Function:
HR Manager is part of the operational team responsible for developing, advising on and implementing policies relating to the effective use of personnel within the organisation. Their role is to ensure that the organisation employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and that training and development opportunities are available to employees to enhance their performance and achieve the longer-term goals of the business.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- To be the point of contact for escalated HR related queries from the organization
- Develop, implement and update people policies, procedures and processes based on the business needs.
- Create, analyse and extract data from employee engagement survey to provide recommendations to senior management team.
- Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding process
- Support the company with regular audits.
- Keep up to date with latest legal requirements and regulations affecting human resources.
- Manage absence, disciplinaries, grievance, performance management process.
- Work cross functionally with teams to develop and deliver appropriate engagement strategies.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Provide confidential advice, support and guidance to managers and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the HR Co-Ordinator and managers to ensure transactional HR processes are actioned and associated data is recorded.
- Organise and deliver training and development activities for managers to close the skills gaps.

Principal Relationships:
- Accountable to: CEO
- Responsible for people processes.
- Internal: work closely with CEO, Finance Director, Warehouse and Production across 2 sites.
Education & Experience:
- Educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) and/or equivalent qualification
- HRIS System (Ideally ADP)

- Must be a team player and work well with others in process development, corrective action and problem solving.

- Demonstrate and promote fair and reasonable standards in the treatment of people who are operating within their sphere of influence.
- Ability to challenge others if they suspect unlawful or unethical conduct or behaviour, taking appropriate actions.
