Specific Responsibilities and Skills
The HR Generalist position, based in Dublin, CA, will manage the implementation and coordination of multiple employee programs including recruiting, onboarding, training, workforce administration, and performance management. This hands-on role will be directly involved in building a great employee experience and our HR organizational capability to meet our strategic goals. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing through ambiguity, influencing organizational planning and development, while enhancing employee relations and retention.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
- Establish a recruiting pipeline, interview process and provide hiring recommendations.
- Enhance training and onboarding programs for therapists, educators and administrators, establishing inter-department communication and collaboration.
- Build and maintain administrative processes to ensure therapist and educator compliance with appropriate boards, state licensing, and third-party payors accreditation.
- Continually enhance and update the Employee Handbook, personnel-related policies, job descriptions, wages and benefits.
- Establish a culture of performance through the creation and facilitation of annual performance evaluation process, supporting feedback check ins and corrective action as needed reflective supervision.
- Work with leadership to identify short and long term headcount needs through proactive workforce planning.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- SHRM-CP or comparable certification preferred.
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science preferred.
- Experience: Five to eight years of diversified Human Resources positions, some of which should be in the medical or educational industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize, and strong attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of company policies and guidelines outlined in the company’s Employee Handbook and by-laws and rules.
- Experience supervising a staff team, including the ability to build positive team morale while meeting or exceeding administrative expectations.
- Knowledge of recruiting sites, such as Indeed, and software including Salesforce, Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets), HRIS applications and payroll systems, such as ADP, Paychex and Insperity.

Pay: $89,939.00 - $109,262.00 per year
