Main duties of the job
The Post Holder will be responsible for co-ordinating, monitoring and managing the Property or properties on behalf of RFL PS. The post holder will be expected to manage Graseby House together with other facilities as directed
Work with the various service providers to formulate and publish an annual building plan outlining key services to be delivered, planned maintenance and lifecycle activities, minor works, configuration changes, implemented service variations from prior years and opportunities for service change, quality improvement and innovation for sign off by the landlord in line with the RFL PS contracts with the owner of Graseby House or other contracts in place in relation to other building facilities contracts..
Act as the key` contact in the event of any operational issues, put in place out of hours on-call arrangements to ensure response in a methodical and controlled manner, implementing the agreed escalation procedures as required and keeping the building users, occupiers and landlord fully briefed on both the incident and the strategy to resolution.
Ensure appropriate steps are taken to create a pro-security culture, where occupiers and building users accept responsibility for their role in establishing a safe and secure environment within the building; ensure security incidents/breaches are detected and reported and adequate preventative and action is taken to minimise risk of recurrence where possible.

- Evidence of continuing professional development and management/leadership development.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a similar role within a Building Management Facilities team.
- Experience of managing multiple service contracts or service providers relating to estates and facilities management
- Relevant experience in effective building management for coordinating, monitoring and managing the maintenance and service charges of properties
- Relevant experience in managing an annual building plan outlining key services to be delivered, planned maintenance and lifecycle activities, minor works, configuration changes and implemented service variations
- Relevant experience in developing an appropriately detailed consolidated service reports including but not exclusive to KPIs, finance, general activity, repair performance, planned maintenance and reactive maintenance, risks and incidents
- Experience in developing and managing effective planned and reactive maintenance and operation of the buildings, plant and associated estates services using direct labor
