ABOUT THE ROLE


The HR Manager at Auriens Chelsea is responsible for the overall colleague lifecycle, from the day that our colleagues join the company, throughout their journey with us. A key focus of this role is delivering an HR agenda designed specifically for Auriens to promote a happy work environment to enhance our colleagues experience and retain the best in the business.


Auriens Chelsea has around 60 colleagues covering all departments in the building such as Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage and Resident Services. This isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ role, we are looking for someone who is adaptable, hands on and enthusiastic to fit the varying elements of this role.


The is a stand-alone role on property but is supported by the Auriens Group HR Team for continuity of our offering across all areas of our business.

KEY DUTIES OF ROLE


HR Generalist


  • Guiding management on employee relations and performance management
  • Improving, implementing and administering HR policies and procedures
  • Maintaining HR systems and overall HR compliance standards
  • Providing data and checks for monthly payroll
  • HR and Training budget management
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting packs, alongside any other reporting requirements
  • Assisting with recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts

Culture & Engagement


  • Onboarding of new colleagues into the business & embedding the culture
  • Improving uptake of employee perks and benefits
  • Auriens Ambassadors lead - social / wellbeing & CSR group
  • Recognition offering re-design
  • Using existing wellbeing sense checks & colleague opinion survey to create a wellbeing programme

Training


  • Individual orientation plans for all new starters
  • Creating ongoing culture training programme
  • Supporting department heads with operational standards training
  • Coordinating inhouse training – utilising skills and subject area expertise of leaders
  • Creating relevant in-house training programmes
  • Liaising with HOD’s to create annual training plans
  • Ensuring compliance online training levels are maintained

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or comparable role with Human Resources
  • Excellent knowledge of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Must have good judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused outlook with high level of discretion and professionalism
  • The ability to work well with team members and management
  • Cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal skills
