TITLE: Human Resources Business Partner (12-month FTC)
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

Team Overview:
IPC's global People function are a progressive and dynamic group of professionals who are rapidly transforming and enhancing the impact of the People function at IPC.
Reporting into IPC's EMEA HR Director, you will partner closely with the European HR team who are located across London, Paris and Madrid. There will also be an opportunity to interact and work with the wider-HR team who are located across North America and Asia.
Within the London office, you will be working in-person with our HR Director, HR Coordinator and EMEA Technical Recruiter.
Role Overview:
This is an interesting opportunity to join the EMEA HR team at IPC on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this position, you will provide direct HRBP support to UK employees & international management.
As a HRBP at IPC, you will help to implement people strategies, partner with key stakeholders, develop strong working relationships with employees and managers, and drive people and engagement programs.
- Business Partnering: Partner with IPC's leadership and management teams to support, influence and guide on all matters related to the people's strategy and policy.
- Employee Relations: Lead on all UK ER issues, providing timely advice and recommendations to key stakeholders and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with internal TA team to support recruitment campaigns and ensure high quality talent is brought into the organization. Ensure successful integration of new talent through delivery of new hire orientations and supporting managers with development of effective onboarding plans and probation objectives.
- Talent Management: Provide coaching and support to key stakeholders with the goal of driving high performance, engagement, and efficiency, and enabling teams to meet business objectives.
- Talent Development: Support stakeholders to identify fit for purpose solutions to drive skills, training, and development of UK employees/teams.
- Transformation Initiatives: Support the delivery of change and transformation initiatives that impact UK employees.
- People Programs: Ensure that IPC people programs and initiatives are effectively implemented and managed within the UK and wider-EMEA region. This includes Wellness, D&I, ESG and Reward and Recognition.
- HRIS System: Partnering with HR Coordinator to ensure that HRIS data is accurately updated and maintained.
- Benefits: Manage the UK benefits program in collaboration with the HR Director, EMEA. Manage relationships with vendors, including contract renewals and negotiations. Maintain the benefits system (Darwin) and ensure changes and updates are regularly communicated with UK employees.
- Absence Management: Provide proactive support to managers and employees regarding absences and return to work transitions, including long-term sick leave and parental leaves.
- Annual Performance and Compensation Process: Support the effectiveness of annual people processes, including performance and compensation reviews, performance calibration, talent, and succession planning.
- Project Work: Support HR Director and CPO with ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives.
- HR Trends: Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of laws, HR trends and technologies to provide insights and suggestions to enhance the impact our people team can make.
Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a HRBP/HR Generalist, supporting UK based employees
- Experience managing through employee relations situations
- Proficient understanding of UK employment legislation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Highly solutions focused
- Empathetic and collaborative nature
- HRIS experience
- Proven project management skills
- Experience in facilitating and navigating tough conversations
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with a dynamic environment and the ability to switch between operational, tactical, and strategic people initiatives.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to speak up and constructively challenge managers while also being open to new perspectives.
- Detailed understanding and interest in the entire spectrum of HR, including performance management, talent development, employment relations, overall employee wellbeing and benefits.
