The Role
Responsible for the management of an effective payroll process and provision of HR administrative support. Working as part of the HR Team you will be responsible for all administration duties and HR records of employees on site. To assist the HR team in ensuring that Guenther Bakeries has in place appropriate HR strategies to ensure that it achieves its targets.
Responsibilities
To work with our external partners to ensure a prompt, accurate and reliable service
To validate all uploaded information to ensure accuracy.
To ensure accurate information is passed on to Payroll Service Providers including new starter, leaver, change of pay rate and sickness absence data.
To be the on-site contact for Managers regarding Payroll issues.
To initiate for approval Employee Change Forms for notification to Payroll Service Providers whilst ensuring implementation on time.
To support Managers in first level absence review, investigation, disciplinary and grievance hearings as note taker, also preparing invite and outcome letters.
Provide HR KPI information for various reports.
To maintain up to date and accurate employee records.
To proactively follow up on outstanding HR matters.
To provide support to the HR Manager - UK in designated HR projects.
Requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to get things done in co-operation with others, and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure at times whilst maintaining the ability to meet deadlines.
Able to work autonomously with an eye for detail.
Able to ensure discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Flexible approach to work.
Good PC Skills. Experience using Workday HR and ADP software desirable
Experience of general administration.
Experience of payroll administration.
Desirable: CIPD level 5 qualified
