Pebbles Care are looking for a full time Human Resources Advisor.
Your role and responsibilities – Human Resources Advisor
- The role is home-based but may include occasional travel in Scotland and England
- You will work closely with the Human Resources Business Partners and support with various investigations, including grievance, disciplinary and absence management.
- You will be the first port of call for all HR enquiries, provide best practice advice and support to all employees across multi-site locations.
- Assist and provide guidance to managers and assist in notetaking in all meetings, in relation to formal absence management, performance management, investigations, disciplinaries, redundancies, grievances and appeals. Ensure notes are recorded properly and using the correct template and format for note taking in relation to HR matters. Advising on best practice, escalating where necessary and checking legal points with internal and or external bodies
- Update employee records and files, storing all documents in the correct format and ensuring information recorded is accurate and updated in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments and key stakeholders, including keeping payroll informed and checking reports on absences, annual leave, leavers, joiners, pay and rewards.
- Policies – update policies when required..
- Issuing amended contracts of employment and associated correspondence.
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with GDPR and Privacy laws on all employee matters.
What we offer you
- Your salary will be circa £31,000 per annum, pro rata
- Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5 pm
- You will receive 28 days annual leave per annum, pro rata

Essential Qualities that we look for include:
- Human Resource Management degree or equivalent experience
- CIPD Level 5
- Previous expereience in Employee Relations.
- Valid driving licence
- PVG/DBS - Enhanced
- Must be willing to travel and have access to transport
Desirable Qualities include:
- CIPD HR Inform membership
- Experience in Residential Child Care
