POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Human Resources Associate for the United Kingdom (London-area Preferred) to join our growing Operations team. This full-time, remote position will be responsible for driving employee satisfaction and retention within our supported employees in the UK and other EMEA countries, by taking ownership and collaborating closely with both internal and external parties. This individual will report to our HR Manager for Employee Experience, also based in the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the main point of contact for our client's employees based in the United Kingdom and other designated countries/regions, guiding them under local labor laws.
- Execute supported employee onboarding, transfers and offboarding, including working with in-country partners and to setup and enroll payroll and benefits.
- Create, maintain, and archive compliant local employment contracts and employment documentation.
- Ensure supported employees are appropriately set up in all Velocity Global systems as required with client agreements and supported employee contracts.
- Deliver exceptional employee satisfaction and retention with sincerity and passion, and approach troubleshooting as an opportunity to establish integrity and value.
- Ensure that appropriate project deadlines are met by timely follow-up and follow-through with both internal and external parties.
- Educate internal teams by researching challenging questions and employee scenarios, and present solutions to the teams.
- Update and refresh Velocity Global internal knowledge management tools.
- Develop and maintain competency in the area of international employment.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- BSc/BA in Human Resources, International Business or equivalent working experience.
- 2+ years' experience in British labour law and HR best practices.
- Business proficiency in English.
- Research-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change in a high growth environment.
- Ability to quickly assimilate information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
- Technology-literate, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong consultative customer service and project management style.
- Drive, strong work ethic, and a passion for creating unparalleled customer experiences.
- Interest in international business and contributing at a consistently high level.
- Experience and/or understanding of labour laws of another European country in addition to the UK, would be preferred/
