About the team?
Based in the Integrated Control Centre in Swindon, the Rosters and Resources team oversee and manage traincrew coverage for all traincrew grades within GWR.
About the job?
You will be responsible for compiling reports, statistics, and data in a timely manner for many stakeholders. Your work alongside various departments will help to shape decisions made throughout the business.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Producing and distributing daily, weekly, periodic, and ad-hoc reports and analysis in relation to traincrew.
- Reconciling and certifying traincrew taxi invoices.
- Managing Drivers rest day counts and liaising with Local Representatives to investigate and resolve any issues.
- Recording traincrew release and associated costs for training schemes.
- Reporting on project reclaim costs for crew overtime and additional taxi costs during engineering blockades.
- Creating bespoke reporting as required.
You'll need to be:
- Proactive, organised, and methodical in your approach and able to manage and prioritise workloads against timescales.
- An excellent communicator able to adapt and tailor reports.
- Able to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
As a minimum you'll need to have:
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience of data analysis would be advantageous.
- Experience of building stakeholder relationships.
Working Pattern?
Monday to Friday, core office hours as part of a roster covering 19.5 hours per week
