We are looking for a Human Factors Engineer to join our team and help us design and develop the next generation of cognitive health products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human factors principles and how they apply to the design of user interfaces, as well as experience in conducting usability testing and user research. This position reports to the Senior Director of Product Management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct usability testing and user research to gather feedback on product designs
- Analyze data from usability testing and user research to identify areas for improvement
- Design and implement user interfaces that are easy to use and understand
- Work with other engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure that products meet user needs in a regulated environment
- Stay up-to-date on the latest human factors research and best practices
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human factors engineering, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in human factors engineering
- Experience in conducting usability testing and user research
- Strong understanding of human factors principles in medical devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minor travel is expected for this position.
Compensation
Altoida provides competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits programs. Specific benefit offerings may vary by location, position, and/or business unit. The full-time salary range is commensurate with experience.
