What do we want from you?
- A keen interest in guitars and a solid understanding of a range of specifications and current trends
- The ability to be able to perform basic maintenance on a guitar
- Reasonable playing ability in order to effectively test guitar and to be confident demonstrating instruments to customers
- Excellent written English skills in order to produce high quality content and communicate with our customers.
What will you be doing?
- The primary role for the successful candidate will be to write listings for guitars on 2nd hand vendor sites including eBay and Reverb and our own website.
- Write and edit reports on the condition of the guitars.
- Learning to value guitars
- Liaising with customers who have booked appointments in store
- We aim for this flexible role to suit you. You will work 35 hours a week for 5 days. These days must include Saturday and Monday. The shop is closed on Sunday.
- Upon completing your probation the successful candidate will be enrolled in our company bonus scheme. This is based on a percentage of the profits each month meaning that as the business succeeds and grows your earnings can too.
- While the bonus does of course fluctuate, at current levels it is worth around £1,000 a year rising to upto £3,000 for more senior members of the team
