About the Opportunity

The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).

HSE Advisor to support and advise the BEPPT project team on their specific HSE duties, and provide guidance, monitoring and reporting on compliance with these responsibilities.

Responsibilities include;

  • Provide the Project Team with competent advice on current HSE legislation applicable to the activities, any hazards present relevant to the scope of works
  • Working effectively with the Project Team in establishing and implementing effective Risk Assessment and HSE planning
  • Actively challenging and reporting any unsafe actions and unsafe conditions.
  • Ensuring effective HSE inductions and relevant HSE training is undertaken and records maintained in a retrievable manner
  • Ensuring near miss and improvement observation reporting is carried out and maintained
  • Delivering suitable safety training programmes for all project personnel (including routine project inductions, toolbox talks and topic specific presentations).
  • Maintaining a visual presence on site and assist with coaching and mentoring of project personnel to ensure continuous improvements are made.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Member of IOSH (Technical).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Safety Advisor on large multi-disciplined construction / commissioning projects
